About me

Hello! I’m glad you stopped by.

I’m Andrea. A middle-aged working mum of two amazing teenagers, a grumpy-looking but very loving husband, and a wonderful dog called Bob. I’m just like you – doing my very best at juggling the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Self-care for me is a priority in managing this, as is gratitude for everything I have. I try to approach things with a positive mindset too, appreciating the highs, and acknowledging the value of the lows as lessons that help me learn and grow.

It wasn’t always like this though! When I had my children and gave up my science teacher career to become a stay-at-home mum, I didn’t realise what a struggle it would be to return to work some years later. I felt old, obsolete and unworthy. I also suffered mum guilt, and tried to compensate for this by giving all my time at home to my family, until everyone was in bed, and I could switch back to preparing lessons late into the night, just to survive the next day. Exhausted, and feeling of little value, I continued to put my own needs last. I  was running on autopilot, but couldn’t see a way to break the cycle. Until I realised that the answer started and ended with me. I had to save myself!

So I slowed down, I did reading and research, I talked to other people, and I found the time, energy and money for my own personal development, the best investment I have ever made! Today, I teach, enjoy time with family and work as a life coach, having trained with the Mindful Talent Academy (Association of Coaching registered). My passion and purpose in this role is to offer transformation to those searching for it. Using my coaching process, I will create the space to really listen to what you want, support you to recognise the immense value and worth you possess, and encourage you to take action, using what you have to achieve what you want. Dare to own your power, and enjoy life on your terms! You’re worth it!

Why me

N

I have been where you are now

Transition points in life are tough, and it’s easy to compromise our identity and lose our spark as we try to conform to situations, roles and meet expectations, often losing ourselves in the process. We think we are alone in feeling inadequate or discontent, but in truth, many of us collectively but in isolation wear the same mask to hide our fears and keep up appearances.

N

I’ve undergone my own transformation

You are the most important person in your life, and the positive ripples from recognising this and showing it in your actions, will be far reaching and impactful to both yourself and all those you spend time with. You show others how to treat you by how you treat yourself. Make sure it’s with kindness and as a high priority – you deserve that!  My practised acknowledgement of this helps free me from trying to please others, and allows me to give myself permission to show up  authentically and apologetically in the way that I choose, without guilt.

N

I want to help you transform too

Combining over 20 years of teaching skills with  life experiences, I will bring the tools and techniques of my coaching process to work in partnership with you to achieve your goals. I already believe that you have everything you need to be successful.. Take action now and blaze your own path to content! What could be more satisfying?
